About Natak:

In 1920’s two legendary artists in Marathi theatre owning their own individual theatre companies, Sangeetsurya Keshavrao Bhosle‘s Lalit Kaladarsha and Balgandharva‘s Gandharva Natak Company both performed Manapman around that time. They had their own business calculations, and yet these two veteran artists decided to work together in a play to raise funds for the Tilak Swarajya Fund. Considering the surrounding circumstances, eco-socio politics, it was not that easy. Yet it happened and became the milestone of Marathi theatre.
